After thinking over how it will be a challenge to design a 3D game with only 4 weeks, we decided to change the idea to a 2D side-scrolling platformer. We're using the platformer microgame from the unity asset store and are going to replace the assets and edit the level. We're still keeping the concept of space and a rover vehicle as the character.
These images show the far background, background, foreground and props. I'll need to create a design for a background, thinking of the space theme. Additionally, I'll have to design buildings/props.
These are very simple designs for the level, showing the background and foreground together.
I also drew some thumbnials on paper that show some different designs for levels.
