Art Fundamentals - Task 1

I decided to do a drawing study on my replica Oathkeeper Keyblade from the video game series Kingdom Hearts.

The process for drawing this was doing the outline first then working on the inner detail lines, by using shading I was able to give the illusion of 3D.

When deciding on the parts to focus on for the focused drawing I went for the most interesting bits, from the star shaped blade at the top, the heart and the hilt.

A point to improve upon is making shading more precise while also blending between the gradients as well as making lines more precise and smooth.
